Robert McCollim, P.E., LEED APRobert McCollim joined the Red Swing team six months after its inception as the Lead Project Engineer. Mr. McCollim is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania with 10 years of professional experience on an assortment of residential, commercial, and light industrial land development projects. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Mr. McCollim is responsible for the technical design of land development projects from working with clients on establishing a conceptual site layout to municipal project approval. Using Civil 3D, he models site grading for balanced earthwork and stormwater management design and calculations. Mr. McCollim is responsible for site due diligence work, report preparations, technical calculations, and overseeing construction document production.

Mr. McCollim has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Upon graduation, he worked in Northern Virginia during the peak of the housing boom on various residential development projects. Beginning in 2004 with a relocation to Pittsburgh, his work turned primarily to small and large commercial retail development with construction projects across Pennsylvania.

Mr. McCollim’s activities include gardening, cooking, hydroponics, and being goofy with his son.
